Dimitris Hantzopoulos was born in 1956 in Patras. He studied Physics at the University of Athens and Animation at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Vancouver, Canada.
In Greece he has worked as a political cartoonist in the News and since 2015 in the newspaper KATHIMERINI.
He has been professionally involved in painting and has exhibited his works at Gallery 7 and at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Crete, Rethymnon. His books have been published by Agra Publications and his latest graphic novel “Pope Ioanna” by Emmanouil Roidis, from “The Athens Review of Books”.
The exhibition “Political cartoon exhibition” is his first collaboration with Zoumboulakis Gallery.
